Privacy Policy
What we collect
Nidanix collects only what's needed to provide the service: your account details (name, mobile number, email), the symptoms, answers and media you submit, the triage results and doctor consultations you create, and basic device and usage data to keep the app secure and working. We do not sell your data or use your health information for advertising.
Face scans (camera vitals)
The optional face scan records a short video of your face to estimate your heart rate and, on the longer scan, your breathing rate. It is for adults (18+) only and asks for your separate permission before it starts. The video is sent to our cloud AI only to compute that reading, is deleted as soon as the reading is done, and is never used to identify you or kept as a biometric record. The reading itself is a wellness estimate, saved in your health record like any other reading.
AI service providers
To generate the guidance you ask for, Nidanix sends data to third-party AI services. The primary provider is Google LLC, through its Gemini API. Only if Gemini is unavailable may the same request be sent instead to OpenAI or Anthropic. What is sent: the symptoms you type or say and your answers to follow-up questions; your chat messages; photos, documents (such as lab reports and prescriptions) and recordings (such as a cough sound) that you choose to have read; your age and sex; and, only if you turn it on in Settings → AI & your health record, your conditions, medicines, allergies, recent vitals and visits. The face-scan video is not sent to these providers. This data is entered, spoken, uploaded or captured by you in the app. It is used only to produce the triage guidance, chat replies, report and photo readings and estimates you asked for. It is not used for advertising and we do not sell it. The app names these providers and asks for your permission before any of it is sent. You can turn off the photo, recording and health-record sharing at any time in Settings, stop using the AI features, or delete your account. We share data with these providers only under terms that require them to protect it to at least the standard described in this policy.
How we use it
Your information is used to run the AI triage, connect you with a verified registered medical practitioner, keep your health records, provide support, and meet legal and safety obligations. Payment details are processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay) and its partner banks — Nidanix never stores your full card or bank credentials.
How it's protected
Health data is encrypted in transit, always. At rest, your files, media and prescriptions are stored encrypted, backups are encrypted before they leave our systems, and the app encrypts what it keeps on your device; encryption at rest for our primary database is in progress. Access is role-restricted, logged, and limited to delivering and improving your care. We retain your records only as long as needed for the service and applicable law, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights & controls
You can access and export your records, correct your details, withdraw consent, and delete your entire account at any time from within the app, with a 30-day grace period in which you can change your mind. You can also ask us to delete any single check, or your account, by writing to us. We act on verified requests within the timelines required by law.
Sharing & third parties
We share information only to deliver the service — with the consulting doctor you choose, with processors such as our payment gateway, cloud hosting and communications providers under contract, and where required by law. Consent-based health-record exchange with any third party happens only with your explicit consent.
Compliance & grievances
We follow applicable data-protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For any privacy question or grievance, contact support@nidanix.com. You must be 18 or older to create a Nidanix account; a parent or guardian can add a child as a family member under their own account and is responsible for the information shared about them.
